So, just like any other intelligent internet marketer I learned that in order to survive online, or in any type of business for that matter, then you better learn to adapt or die!</p>
<p>With the recent <a href="http://searchengineland.com/google-confirms-panda-update-link-evaluation-local-search-rankings-113078" target="_blank">Google Panda updates</a> and now with the latest <a href="http://www.dailyblogtips.com/google-penguin-update-is-live/" target="_blank">Google Penguin update</a>, SEO&#8217;s, bloggers, and internet marketers must start taking drastic changes to stay in the game.</p>
<p>The <a href="http://www.viperchill.com/future-of-blogging/" target="_blank">old ways</a> just aren&#8217;t going to cut it anymore, and you better start making changes right now!</p>
<h1>What You Need to Change Right Now</h1>
<p><strong>Branding</strong></p>
<p>Start building your brand and not relying on SEO and organic traffic so heavily. I love free traffic from the search engines, but it&#8217;s not reliable or nearly as easy to manipulate anymore. Branding your online business is, and really always has been, the right way to build an online business that can&#8217;t be affected by Google or really any other variables that the internet can throw at you.</p>
<p><strong>Example</strong>: I love Twix candy bars. Even if there wasn&#8217;t another commercial or ad for the Twix candy bar I would still buy them and would even tell others about how much I like them, and share them with friends/family. I know what to expect when I seek a Twix bar, and that is why I always go back to it and share it with others I&#8217;m close to. Same goes for a good online brand, it will work essentially the same way.</p>
<p>I&#8217;ve always known branding was important for being successful online, but was basically to lazy to put much effort into it, now it&#8217;s my main focus point.</p>
<p>Some of you may be having trouble on starting your brand and don&#8217;t know what angle or name you should use. I was just like you, but this is what helped me to finally come up with something.</p>
<p>Think about what makes you different and unique than anyone else online. What makes you &#8211; you?</p>
<p>The more unique, original, creative you are with it, the better. Your goal is to be memorable and distinguish yourself from everyone else online.</p>
<p><strong>Email Lists</strong></p>
<p>Just as important as building your brand, building your list has never been more important than now and in the future for succeeding online and making good money on the internet. Just like a good brand, the search engines can&#8217;t affect your list. And once you build it, then you control it.</p>
<p><strong>Example</strong>: let&#8217;s say you only get 100 UV&#8217;s a day to your site and 10 of them signup for your email list. That&#8217;s 3650 people on your list each year. If you send out just 1 email for the entire year that includes one affiliate offer that pays you $20 per sale and only 4% make a purchase that would be 146 sales which equals to an instant $2920. Now what if you sent out 1 email per month?</p>
<p>There are a ton of different email marketing software&#8217;s available, so do you&#8217;re own research and try out there trial offers like for <a href="http://www.aweber.com/?323149" target="_blank">Aweber</a> before settling for one.</p>
<p><strong>Change Your SEO Strategies</strong></p>
<p>I have a nice handful of sites and blogs that I&#8217;m currently working on, and I&#8217;ll admit, every single one was nicely on-page SEO&#8217;d. Keywords in my titles, descriptions, and my images and etc.</p>
<p>That&#8217;s NOT going to work anymore&#8230;</p>
<p>Keyword stuffing and being totally obvious to Google what keywords you&#8217;re trying to rank for is only going to do more harm than good.</p>
<p>Just ask any top SEO expert and they&#8217;ll tell you the same thing.</p>
<p>That method of putting your keywords all over your sites will raise a red flag to the search engines. Google&#8217;s algorithms are starting to pickup on sites that are trying to rank for certain keywords manually rather than naturally.</p>
<p>If you have a site that has the same 5 keywords scattered repeatedly throughout your site and Google finds backlinks with the same keywords pointing back to your site, they are going to put 2 and 2 together, and eventually b$%&amp;@ slap your site.</p>
<p>And that my friends is what the <strong>Google Penguin update</strong> and future updates are all about in case you didn&#8217;t catch on to this already.</p>
<p>So instead, I&#8217;m focusing on my brand name and adding a few relevant keywords in my main title tags, too.</p>
<p>And not making it obvious for what keywords I want to rank for, but doing things more subtle and gradual. Which sucks, because this will obviously take longer and will take more effort.</p>
<p><strong>Value and Content</strong></p>
<p>Delivering value to your audience with content that they are searching for, that interests, and benefits them has always been the key to success with any online venture, but it&#8217;s now time to step it up even more because of the increase in competition, and this is what the search engines and social media sites ultimately want.</p>
<p>One thing I have noticed is linking to relevant, valuable and helpful content throughout your posts are actually boosting them up the serps. Now your content better be on par and be epic, but linking out I&#8217;ve found is help boosting these pages or sites up to the front of the serps.</p>
<p>So this has me wanting to do some experimenting which I&#8217;ll be sharing in my future blog just for link building case studies.</p>
<p>This is the present and future of successful internet marketing and blogging, so whether you like it or not you&#8217;ve got to adapt or beg for your old job back at McD&#8217;s. But actually thinking about it, these new type of changes could thin out the herd a bit online since it will be harder to make money online and thus less people will attempt it or pursue it. Dunno, only time will tell.</p>
<p>But seriously, all of these changes are making all of us internet marketers step up our game which is probably a good thing. It&#8217;s actually kind of crazy to think about all the things people have been able to get away with online over the past years, isn&#8217;t it?</p>

<p>It&#8217;s a win win situation. You&#8217;re helping others out by sharing your opinions and experiences, since just about everyone has read a review to help them make a final decision before, and best of all you can make money by doing this.</p>
<p>The possibilities are pretty much endless. I know people who make a little extra money each month by writing a few reviews, and then there&#8217;s the Super Affiliates who literally make millions just by writing reviews, and with their review sites.</p>
<p>There are a few different ways of getting paid to write reviews, and some are more advanced than others.</p>
<p>But I&#8217;m going to cover all of this with you, and help you out as much as I can. Since this is the very first way that I started to <a href="http://www.mathewday.com/2010/09/make-extra-money-from-home-ways-i-make-money-online-at-home/">make money online</a>, and still to this day, is one of my main income streams.</p>
<h1>How to Write a Review</h1>
<p>You can basically write a review on just about anything; products, services and etc.</p>
<p>A review is one of the most powerful forms of persuasion and utilizes the ultimate trust factor, word of mouth. Who hasn&#8217;t ever looked up or read a review on something before we purchased, or decided on something.</p>
<p>Reviews are one of the most looked up things on the internet before someone makes a final purchase online. And this is where you come in. Just about every major company needs people to write reviews on their products and services, so people can hear it from one of their own, and not just what the marketing and advertising spoon feeds people to think.</p>
<p>So basically, you would just share your opinion and view points on whatever you&#8217;re reviewing. The review could be, really any length to get the job done, but I would recommend making it at least 500 words.</p>

<p><strong>Tips for writing reviews</strong></p>
<p>1. <strong>knowledge</strong> &#8211; the more you know about whatever you&#8217;re reviewing will give you more confidence and make you more believable, so make sure you do your research and experimenting. Also, be transparent in exactly what you&#8217;re writing about, and more knowledge will allow you to convey this.</p>
<p>2. <strong>firsthand experience</strong> &#8211; actually using or experimenting will make your review so much more valuable and insightful. Some people write reviews without ever trying or buying the product/service first, which I wouldn&#8217;t suggest ever. But some people actually have the skills to pull this off.</p>
<p>3. <strong>be opinionated</strong> &#8211; this is one of them rare times where people will like you more, for actually being opinionated, so take full use of it. Share your insight, and the more you can tell people about the product/service, then the better. So be detailed and think about what you would want to hear if you were reading the review.</p>
<p>4. <strong>the good and the bad</strong> &#8211; people love reading the good and the bad in any review that they are reading. If all you have are positive things to say in your review, then it will sound a bit biased and not truthful. Or if it really is that awesome, then share that and let people know that there was nothing you found that was negative.</p>
<p>5. <strong>keep the reader in mind</strong> &#8211; rarely do people ever read entire reviews or articles online, word for word. So make sure you breakup your review into sections so people can easily skim and read what they want too. This is why showcasing the words that will get your view and message across is of utter importance. More practice will help you master this.</p>
<p>6. <strong>benefits &amp; value</strong> &#8211; the real reason why anyone reads a review is because they have a problem or a question, so make sure you show them the benefits and value of whatever you are reviewing. And show them this what it can do for them, or what it can&#8217;t, depending on what route you&#8217;re going.</p>

<p>Just like I had mentioned before, there are quite a few different ways to make money by writing reviews, so just choose what would best for you. Or be adventurous, and try all of them.</p>
<p>1. <strong>the simple review</strong> &#8211; all you need to do is go to one of these sites below, and write reviews for them and make money. You&#8217;re probably aren&#8217;t going to get rich with this method unless you discover a way to just kill it. <p>2. <strong>the not so simple review</strong> &#8211; Now there are a few ways for you to do this method of making money online by writing reviews. This is the way I make money by writing reviews, and this method can make you rich, or make you nice little side income.</p>
<p>This method involves <a href="http://www.mathewday.com/2012/03/affiliate-marketing/">making money from affiliate marketing</a>. Basically, you&#8217;ll write a review on just about anything that has an affiliate program, and you&#8217;ll make money from people clicking on your affiliate links and making a purchase or taking an action.</p>
<p>Now the reason I said this is the more difficult way is because you&#8217;re now competing against people like me, (the savages and killers on the internet) affiliate and internet marketers, and we&#8217;ve got skills to make insane amounts of money by writing affiliate product/service reviews.</p>
<p>But don&#8217;t get scared off now, this isn&#8217;t rocket science or anything like that.</p>
<p>With a little experience and some effort, you&#8217;ll soon be making money with your affiliate reviews and be a bonafide internet marketer.</p>
<p>This method gives you more freedom and opportunity to learn a new skill, and the opportunity to make a whole heck of a lot of money.</p>

<p><strong>The different ways to write reviews for affiliate products and reviews</strong></p>

<li><strong>Your own website</strong> &#8211; Now this is probably the most complicated for a beginner to make money online by writing reviews, but it seriously isn&#8217;t that complicated at all, and this has the biggest payoff in the end. If you <a href="http://www.mathewday.com/2010/03/how-to-create-a-wordpress-blog-with-hostgator/">create a website</a>, then you can make a whole site around a topic, and then can add your affiliate links and banners on your site. Creating a site isn&#8217;t hard at all, and I even guide you through that process if you follow that link above.</li>

<p><strong>Here&#8217;s some examples of the type of review sites that you could create.</strong></p>
<p>Example 1: a review site on make money products from an affiliate network like &#8220;Clickbank&#8221;. Each article would be on a different CB make money products with an affiliate link in the content leading to the actual product.</p>
<p>Example 2: choose a niche or topic like cameras, then do reviews on as many as you can and use &#8220;Amazon&#8217;s associates program&#8221; to make money by referring people to the actual camera in your article review.</p>
<p>Example 3: create a blog like this one, mathewday.com and have regular posts, but add review posts in it every now and then with some affiliate links. Rather than having a total site only containing reviews for one specific niche.</p>
<p>Example 4: I&#8217;m sure you&#8217;ve heard of www.angieslist.com, it&#8217;s on the T.V. ads all the time. This site was totally created around the concept of reviews, but it&#8217;s more like a service rather than selling anything directly to you. It&#8217;s a different style of creating a site for reviews.</p>
<p>The 4 examples above can make you a ton of money and literally could help you escape your 9-5 job if you really wanted too. Plus, you own everything, you&#8217;re content and the website. This is one of the best investments that you could make, especially since it doesn&#8217;t cost an arm and a leg to start.</p>

<li><strong>Using free blogs and web 2.0 sites</strong> &#8211; it&#8217;s not the best practice to rely on using these type of sites for many reasons like; you won&#8217;t own your work because you&#8217;re writing it on someone&#8217;s site, you have no control and they could take down your articles anytime they want, and they may not allow you to write reviews with affiliate links in them. As long as you keep that in mind, you still can get by and make a little money by writing affiliate reviews using these type of sites.</li>

<p><strong>Here&#8217;s what I think about freelancing</strong></p>
<p>If you want to make more money as a free lancer or want to actually take your little business to whole another level, then you should <a href="http://www.mathewday.com/2010/03/how-to-create-a-wordpress-blog-with-hostgator/">create a blog</a> or website.</p>
<p>Why?</p>
<p>You can become truly independent from using a service or company to find you work. Or you&#8217;ll be able to show potential clients when using a service what you&#8217;ve done and what exactly what you&#8217;re offering. Just build a website around the service(s) you will provide with all the information for people to see clearly. It&#8217;s more professional, you&#8217;ll have a place to keep and showcase your past work, and be able to display your testimonials and so much more.</p>
<p>You can get traffic and get people who are interested in your services from your website being found in the search engines like Google, paid traffic like the ads you see all over the internet, write articles in the free article directories, promote your services in forums, and don&#8217;t forget about viral traffic from social media sites like Facebook and Twitter. It&#8217;s a lot harder to get traffic to your freelance service if you don&#8217;t have a website.</p>
<p>Example: Let&#8217;s say you want to start being a freelancer for graphic design. So you go to one of the websites I mentioned above, and then you compete with 1000&#8242;s of others just like you. And because of this, you only get a little work, and less pay.</p>
<p>Now if you offered the same service, but instead of going to a website or service to find work, you own a website instead. And you&#8217;re website is on the front page of Google for the keywords, &#8220;hire a graphic designer&#8221;. You get tons of traffic who become customers, and you can charge more since you look more professional and no one else on your site is competing with you.</p>

<p><strong>Now, for freelance writers.</strong></p>
<p>To me it doesn&#8217;t make sense to write for someone else, and here&#8217;s why.</p>
<p>Yeah you&#8217;re making a little money for writing articles. But do you know why people want you to write articles for them? Most website owners use articles to get more traffic to their website and this leads to more sales from their website.</p>
<p>So instead of, like myself, writing for someone else I would rather write articles for my own sites, and use my content for getting more traffic to my sites.</p>
<p>I could sell an article I write for, let&#8217;s say $10 and that&#8217;s on a good day. OK, but if I get a site on the first page of Google for a keyword, then I have the potential to make thousands of dollars in passive income consistently. So you&#8217;re looking at making a few hundred dollars from writing 10-20 articles for someone else &#8211; vs &#8211; using those same articles to potentially make 1000&#8242;s from your own website. Are you seeing the BIG picture now?</p>
<p>But I&#8217;ll be frank, it obviously takes some skills and knowledge to make money from a website the way I was just talking about. So if you&#8217;re interested in making money online at home and being self employed by this method, then maybe you should get into internet marketing, like I did.</p>
<p>If you don&#8217;t want to get into all that, then becoming a freelancer is the way to go to make some extra money.</p>
<p>Of course the amount of money and what you make your freelancing gig into is totally up to you. Some turn it into a full blown business, while others are happy to just make a little money when they need it, or have time for it.</p>

<p>It&#8217;s no secret, you and me both know that it takes incredible content to have a successful blog in the present and future.</p>
<p>With Google algorithms changing on the fly to increase the level of quality content online, and if you want to get a piece of the viral traffic from social media, then you know that your content better be great, too.</p>
<p>No, forget that, epic!</p>
<p>So, if you&#8217;re like me, then even though my writing skills aren&#8217;t incredible yet, I never stop trying to improve them, and never stop gaining more knowledge on what it takes to become an epic writer and blogger &#8211; someday.</p>
<p>Cause if you can master writing insanely great content whenever you want too, then you can take your internet marketing and blogging career up to the next level. <strong>Make that 3 or 4 levels</strong>.</p>
<p>Which means, being able to grow your loyal fan base consistently, getting viral traffic whenever you want, and of course insane amounts of money in your bank account that grows passively. (But who&#8217;s really interested in that last part) <img src='http://www.mathewday.com/wp-includes/images/smilies/icon_biggrin.gif' alt=':D' class='wp-smiley' /> </p>
<p>But, instead of reading the same old &#8220;how to write great content&#8221; posts, which were pretty much all the same, I wanted to dig deeper and look at what really separates the Super Bloggers from the bloggers who just can&#8217;t seem to make that big <a href="http://expertenough.com/1833/the-breakthrough" target="_blank">BREAKTHROUGH</a> (people like myself).</p>
<p>In this article I want to share with you what I&#8217;ve found that each and every successful blogger incorporates at least one of, into their writing, and how you can use this to get your blog on the map, and get your share of the viral traffic that will catapult your blog to the next level.</p>
<h1>How to write great content for your blog</h1>
<p>- 1.<strong> Write Epic Sh**</strong> &#8211; Try to over-deliver in your content. Actually show your visitors that you are trying to impress the pants off of them with your content. <a href="http://thinktraffic.net/write-epic-shit" target="_blank">Epic content</a> makes people think, learn, laugh, cry, cuss or want to better themselves. You&#8217;re visitors will be different in someway after they finish reading it.</p>
<p>This could include pillar articles, extensive lists, and extremely well researched articles on any particular topic. Or the opposite, and write content that&#8217;s more personal that could include your experiences, beliefs, opinions, and don&#8217;t forget to add a great story to your articles. Just try to write content that would even impress yourself after you&#8217;re done writing it, and know that you gave 100% to make that article the best that you could.</p>
<p>- 2. <strong>Have fun</strong> &#8211; Did you know the people who are more likely to succeed at something and not give up are the ones who are having fun and are happy? People are attracted to fun and positivity just like a magnet. They can sense this in your writing. If you&#8217;re having fun in what you do or what you write about, this will come through in your content, and thus spread to your visitors.</p>
<p>Fun and happy are infectious to anyone else who comes in contact with it. People will want to stick around and come back for more. So maybe, if you&#8217;re not having fun writing about whatever you&#8217;re blog topic currently is and you&#8217;re not seeing any success, then maybe you should change gears and start a blog that you&#8217;ll actually have fun with.</p>
<p>- 3. <strong>stay relevant</strong> &#8211; choose one niche, one topic, never stray from it. Find your particular audience for your topic and always deliver same thing that they want all the time. If your site is about making money from home, then only write about making money from home.</p>
<p>Don&#8217;t add that post about your Uncle Ned&#8217;s last experiment that went terribly wrong, share that story somewhere else. Not only does writing on one topic have major SEO benefits, but also you&#8217;ll keep your visitors happy. They are coming to your blog for one reason, and that&#8217;s to read about the topic of your blog.</p>
<p>Before you start writing anything, ask yourself is this relevant to my blog&#8217;s topic, is this what people are coming to my site to read about?</p>
<p>- 4. <strong>deliver what people want</strong> &#8211; The one thing that every successful person in any industry including bloggers, Hollywood stars or even you&#8217;re neighborhood plumber have in common is that they all deliver exactly what people are looking for. People either have a void, have a problem or have a question when they come to your site. Are you delivering what they came there for?</p>
<p>Answer a question, supply a need, provide a solution, it&#8217;s really that simple.</p>
<p>Why are sites like Google, About.com and wikipedia all so popular? All 3 instantly solve a problem and answer a question. About.com has a tagline that says it all. &#8220;Need. Know. Accomplish.&#8221;</p>
<p>Same goes for the A-list artists and movie stars. Haven&#8217;t you ever wondered what their secret is to having millions of fans for years and years? Simply put, they deliver exactly what the people want.</p>
<p>If you&#8217;re an internet or affiliate marketer, then if you start showing your visitors the benefits, a solution and answer their questions as soon as they hit your site, then I promise you&#8217;ll increase your conversions like never before.</p>
<p>- 5. <strong>likeability</strong> &#8211; If people like you, then you&#8217;ll appear to be a better writer in their eyes, and then it really won&#8217;t matter what you write about. The more likeable you are, the more people will be willing to do anything for you like make more purchases, share your content and be loyal to you.</p>
<p>So how do you become more likeable? I believe it&#8217;s a mixture of your personality, charm, charisma and being self aware of how you treat and are looked upon by others, then trying to change for the better. So if you don&#8217;t have it, then you better get some. Because even if you lack in other skills, having a likeable personality will take you far as a writer, and in life.</p>
<p><strong>Dane Cook</strong>, one of my favorites, once said that a lot of his success as a comedian is do to the fact that he&#8217;s likeable not because he&#8217;s necessarily the funniest. Once a person likes him, then that gives him the freedom to do any type of joke or comedy act and the fans will still think he&#8217;s just the funniest person ever, and still be loyal.</p>
<p>Couldn&#8217;t track down that source so I put it into my own words. But how do you think he&#8217;s been able to sellout the largest stadiums when no other stand up comedian could? Hmmmm isn&#8217;t it because he&#8217;s so polite.</p>
<p>- 6. <strong>find your unique tone</strong> &#8211; persona or style as a writer and blogger. Differentiate yourself from all the other bloggers. Each successful blog online is unique in it&#8217;s own way. It&#8217;s just like people. There&#8217;s billions of us, yet we&#8217;re all different.</p>
<p>We need to <a href="http://thinktraffic.net/be-different-to-stand-out-online" target="_blank">stand out from the other bloggers</a>. You can start by just being yourself and incorporate that into your writing. But I don&#8217;t believe the whole &#8211; just be yourself is the right way all the time, unless you&#8217;re boring and have no creativity.</p>
<p>One of the cool things about blogging and writing is being able to be anyone we want to be, and having the freedom to write in any style we choose to. Never heard of top stars creating alter egos for the stage. They aren&#8217;t being themselves, but becoming and delivering what people want, and doing whatever it takes to get them to where they want to go.</p>
<p>So depending on what type of writer you want to be, or the blog that you have, then choose your unique style and persona, then own it. People will start associating you to that style and personality and be expecting the same thing every time they read your writing.</p>
<p>If you have a personal blog, then it would probably be wise to be yourself. If you have a blog on cute little kittens, then you probably want to have a cute and cuddly personality.</p>
<p>A problem some of us writers have is we hold back who we really are, or what we really want to say, and just try to please everyone.</p>
<p>But, &#8220;when you try to please everyone, then you end up pleasing no one&#8221;.</p>
<p>Be the writer you want to be, make your blog the way you really want to make it, and forget the rest.</p>
<p>- 7. <strong>keep your audience in mind</strong> &#8211; Don&#8217;t be robotic and don&#8217;t act like you&#8217;re writing an article to your computer. Engage with your readers, be more personable and connect with them at some level.</p>
<p>Act as if you&#8217;re the speaker in front of an audience, and you are talking to them. Or act as if you&#8217;re talking to one person like they are right in front of you. Since at least 80% of all your visitors skim your content make sure you break everything into sections and have titles for them to easily find and read what they want. Make sure you&#8217;re paragraphs are broken up after a few sentences.</p>
<p>Be consistent with your writing like a set schedule so your readers will know when to expect a new article.</p>
<p>Know your exact demographics, and think of what they would want to read when they come to your site, and what would help them. If you&#8217;re readers are all men, then don&#8217;t be writing about the last chick flick that you watched and actually enjoyed.</p>
<p>- 8. <strong>back it up</strong> &#8211; This isn&#8217;t the beginning to a rap song. I&#8217;m talking about the bloggers who just seem to know it all and be spittin out theories and solutions left and right, but they have nothing that can back any of it up with.</p>
<p>If you aren&#8217;t super successful at what you&#8217;re talking about or have anything to back it up, then no one is going to listen to you. People want actual proof of what you&#8217;re writing about. So back everything up with a reference, source, your own experience like a case study or show your personal results.</p>
<p>- 9. <strong>be the leader</strong> &#8211; It&#8217;s human nature that people are attracted to leaders, aren&#8217;t you? So why are people going to follow what you say on your blog if you&#8217;re not acting like a leader in your niche, or have full confidence in what your write about?</p>
<p>You need to become the innovator, and try to come up with new things, or be the first to write about something. Don&#8217;t always wait until you see it first, then write your own version of it on your blog. That&#8217;s only going to take you so far.</p>
<p>- 10. <strong>Be memorable</strong> &#8211; If no one remembers your blog, you, or your writing, then you&#8217;ll never make it as a blogger. This may take creativeness, taking chances, going out of your comfort zone and trying new things.</p>
<p>Do something crazy, different, be provocative, risqué, write content that is timeless, tell good stories, or whatever it takes to be noticed and remembered. If you&#8217;re writing, and you&#8217;re blog always just goes with the flow, never breaks any of the rules, and is just like the other 10 million blogs, then you just might become forgettable. You could take the negative route, or the positive.</p>
<p><strong>For instance</strong>: I remember one of the first bloggers I read about was <strong>Shoemoney</strong>. It was his post on his incredibly HUGE adsense check that is seared into my brain probably for life. I still to this day visit his blog from time to time and not because his content is the greatest but I still remember his blog and interested in what he&#8217;s up to. <strong>John Chow</strong> I remember reading about him being the online bad boy. He wanted to go against Google and was actually kicked out of Google&#8217;s search engine, and he was proud of it. It&#8217;s something I&#8217;ll always remember.</p>
<p>No one is going to remember the thousands of fans that were at a super bowl game, but that single fan who had the guts (or lack of brain cells) to run on the field in a thong will be remembered by all.</p>
<p>It could just take one post that get&#8217;s people&#8217;s attention and becomes memorable, and puts your blog on the map forever. Or if you can write a continuous supply of memorable posts, then you&#8217;re good as gold.</p>
<p><strong>bonus</strong> &#8211; to write extraordinary content, then start living an extraordinary life and actually go out and do things and experiment. Read more books which will give you more ideas and help improve your writing.</p>
<p>And lastly, spend some time and actually put some effort into improving your writing skills on a regular basis. Mine still might be lacking, but they are improving since my very first blog post.</p>
<p>Now since you&#8217;re going to start writing stellar content on the regular, don&#8217;t forget one other important factor.</p>
<p><strong>Without Magnetic Headlines no one will read your Insanely Awesome Content</strong></p>
<p>Now you need to grab attention and bring people into your incredibly written article, and this can&#8217;t be done without a <a href="http://www.copyblogger.com/magnetic-headlines/" target="_blank">headline that captures attention</a>. Make sure you spend sometime on coming up with your <a href="http://www.mathewday.com/2012/03/creating-headlines-that-pop/">headline</a> because it can have a great effect on whether your article will get the attention it deserves. You don&#8217;t want it to be to hyped up, but then you don&#8217;t want to play it to safe or boring either.</p>
<p>I hope some of these tips on <a href="http://www.mathewday.com/2010/04/what-to-write-about-in-a-blog-how-to-create-killer-content/">how to write killer content</a> will help you to become the blogger that you want to be, and help take your blog to the next level. If you continue to practice and strive to be a better writer, then you can only get better with more experience. And don&#8217;t forget, sharing is caring.</p>

<p>Actually, he checked out a few of my sites and told me that I was missing this one vital thing with all of them. At first, I was a little offended and got a little heated since I kind of got a big ego, and because I&#8217;ve been making some nice money from those sites. But then he showed me some of his sales stats for the last couple months and I quickly shut up.</p>
<p>If you&#8217;re still reading this, then what I&#8217;m about to tell you in this post is proof that it works, 100%.</p>
<p>I&#8217;m not the type of person who believes in over-hyping my headlines, titles or sales pitches.</p>
<p>So I apologize about my headline because what I&#8217;m going to be talking to you about, isn&#8217;t really a trick, but more of vital necessity you must master to succeed online.</p>
<p>And that is &#8211; how to create headlines that POP and grab your visitors attention.</p>

<p>- There is one other thing that goes along with writing effective headlines which I&#8217;ll talk about at the end of this post, so make sure you read that too, before you go.</p>
<h1>Writing Effective Headlines</h1>
<p>There&#8217;s nothing worse than overly hyped products or headlines, right? I totally agree, but playing it safe and not taking any risks or using your creativity, won&#8217;t get you anywhere online either.</p>
<p>You really need to spend sometime into <a href="http://www.viperchill.com/blog-post-headlines/" target="_blank">creating your headlines</a> if you want to explode your traffic and sales through the roof!</p>
<p>It&#8217;s a fact &#8211; Most people who visit your blog or site skim through the headlines to see if anything catches their eye. If the title doesn&#8217;t create any curiosity, then they probably won&#8217;t even take anytime at all to read your content. Doesn&#8217;t matter how good it is if they never see it.</p>
<p>Take a look at a lot of the front page articles on the largest websites or social media. It&#8217;s the headline that makes it go viral, not the long boring content that everyone always puts down in the comments.</p>
<p>So, let&#8217;s say you&#8217;re missing out on about 80% of any potential sales or traffic. Because most of your traffic isn&#8217;t even getting to your content, let alone seeing your affiliate links or sales page. And without a KILLER title, you aren&#8217;t going to get any viral traffic either. No one shares articles that have boring or unappealing headlines.</p>
<p>That&#8217;s a lot of traffic you could be getting for doing nothing but writing better headlines, and a lot of money you&#8217;re letting escape out the door. Instead of worrying about SEO and traffic all the time, just spend a little more time into creating more effective headlines. Makes sense, right?</p>
<p>Look, think about your most popular blog posts or sales pages. What kind of headlines do you have on them?</p>

<p>All of these posts above have gotten a lot of viral traffic. Now I just need to start working on creating more headlines and articles like them. But it&#8217;s a work in progress. It&#8217;s one of my weaknesses. I for some reason always write boring titles and play it safe, even though I know it&#8217;s hurting me. OK, some of my content might need a little bit of work, too. <img src='http://www.mathewday.com/wp-includes/images/smilies/icon_razz.gif' alt=':P' class='wp-smiley' /> </p>
<p>Now what do the 4 posts have in common that are above?</p>
<p>They all have eye catching headlines, and the posts themselves answer specific questions and solve a specific problem.</p>
<p>Which leads to the second part of creating a great headline.</p>
<p>And that is, you need to ask yourself this question every time before your start writing-</p>
<h2>What&#8217;s in it for ME?</h2>
<p>The average person online is selfish. They want to either solve a problem or get an answer when they get online. All they care about is &#8220;what&#8217;s in it for me&#8221;, not all the other mumbo jumbo. If you start writing your headlines and content with that in mind, you&#8217;ll start getting more sales and visitors as soon as you start implementing this.</p>
<p>Make sure you lead with the benefits and answers, rather than any of the other boring information that you could put elsewhere. They need to know right away why they need what you&#8217;ve got, and what it&#8217;s going to do for them.</p>
<p>That&#8217;s it, just those 2 simple but crucial things to start implementing and working on everyday before you start writing anything online. I know I&#8217;m going to start working on making my headlines POP, but without over-hyping, and delivering content that will instantly intrigue my particular targeted demographics. Start putting more effort into both of these things starting today, and I&#8217;m sure you&#8217;ll soon be getting more traffic and sales very soon.</p>

<p>One of the best ways to make money from home is by getting into <a href="http://www.mathewday.com/2012/03/affiliate-marketing/">affiliate marketing</a> and creating money pages to promote affiliate products. Why? I can spend one hour creating a highly converting money page sitting at home on my computer, and make passive income from it for years and years. That&#8217;s why I get so pumped about the opportunities the internet allows me to have for making money from home.</p>
<p>But obviously it can&#8217;t be that simple, or else everyone would be making money online from home, right?</p>
<p>Some experienced internet marketers and bloggers may have the skills to get a lot of traffic to their sites, but converting that traffic into clicking your affiliate links and making a purchase is whole different skill-set in itself. This is where a lot of marketers have problems and really have no clue on what their doing wrong.</p>
<p>NO Worries, I&#8217;ve pretty much mastered it, and I want to share with you how to make a money page, and how to make them convert at a very high ratio.</p>
<p><img class="size-full wp-image-4899 alignleft" title="make money from home" src="http://www.mathewday.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/03/make-money-from-home1.png" alt="" width="199" height="88" />Even though at the moment I get very little traffic to most of my sites, I still make quite a lot of sales. I work on creating money pages that convert very well. As you can see the image to your left that I&#8217;m making close to 1 sale out of every 5 people who click through for that particular product, or about a 20% sales ratio. Which isn&#8217;t to shabby.</p>
<p>I&#8217;m accomplishing that by only getting highly targeted traffic and optimizing my money page to make the most conversions that I can get. Other marketers concentrate more on getting mass amounts of traffic instead, and convert maybe 1 sale out of hundred or more clicks on their affiliate links. Which method would you rather use?</p>
<h2>What is a Money Page?</h2>
<p>I call them money pages because essentially that&#8217;s what you create them for, to make money. But they are officially called landing pages, sales page or conversion page. It&#8217;s a page that you create using content and graphics to make the visitor take action, and eventually make a purchase. You can add links, banners or graphics to your money page, or whatever works to get the visitor to do what you want them to do.</p>
<p><strong>What Kind of Money Pages are There?</strong></p>
<p>There are several different types of money pages to make extra money from home with including; mini niche sites, sniper sites, landing page or even creating a blog post. Basically I either write a post in one of my regular blogs and it will be a money page &#8211; meaning I&#8217;ll do some type of review or recommendation on an affiliate product that I want to make money from. I&#8217;m sure you&#8217;ve seen this before on some of the blogs you visit.</p>
<p>Or, I&#8217;ll create a mini site which will be on it&#8217;s own domain and usually I&#8217;ll just create a small blog that only has a few pages on it. The entire site will only be about one topic, and of course have an affiliate offer that is relevant with the site&#8217;s niche.</p>
<p><strong>Here are different styles of money pages</strong>:</p>
<ol>
<li>You could do a review on an affiliate offer, or even do multiple reviews on similar affiliate offers all on one page or mini site. This gives your visitors choices.</li>
<li>Personal experience about something you&#8217;ve tried or gone through, so more like a story that leads to the affiliate offer as you&#8217;re solution.</li>
<li>Just write a post about topic or latest trend, not even a sales pitch at all. Just a regular blog post and then add a relevant affiliate link in it at the right place. These convert well too. When your content feels and reads like you&#8217;re not trying to sale anything at all, then people let their guard down and will click on an affiliate link without even thinking about it. They may not make a purchase at the moment, but decide to on another day and you should get credited for it.</li>
<li>Write a tutorial on something and add some helpful affiliate links in proper places. Works really well if you do it right.</li>
<li>Write content that either is informational, helpful or answers a question, then add a relevant affiliate link in a proper place.</li>
<li>Do case studies on an affiliate offer and then write what you think, and about your experience. Some people build very successful extensive sites/blogs just using this method.</li>
<li>Write about a poor product and warn people not to buy it and the reasons why, then offer them an alternative that&#8217;s actually a quality affiliate offer</li>
</ol>
<p>If you didn&#8217;t get this concept already, Don&#8217;t make your money page look like a money page. To your visitors it should look like the answer to their problem, which it is, but you&#8217;re also making passive income from it. It&#8217;s a win win. So don&#8217;t pick crappy affiliate offers either.</p>
<p><strong>Why do Money Pages Work so Well?</strong></p>
<p>It&#8217;s super targeted for one specific topic or niche. So basically if anyone decides to go to your money page, then they are already interested, and it&#8217;s your job to convert them into a buyer. But this means you need to get highly targeted traffic if you&#8217;re going to make money from home with this method.</p>
<h3>Steps to Creating a Money Page</h3>
<p><strong>1</strong>. Choose a good <a href="http://www.mathewday.com/affiliate-programs-networks">affiliate offer</a> that you can make money from. I like to look for a good affiliate offer first, rather than thinking of something I want to write about first. The reason being you need to make sure there is a good affiliate offer for you to promote, or there&#8217;s no reason to create a money page on that topic.</p>
<p><strong>2</strong>. It&#8217;s time to use the <a href="https://adwords.google.com/o/Targeting/Explorer?__c=1000000000&amp;__u=1000000000&amp;ideaRequestType=KEYWORD_IDEAS" target="_blank">Google Keyword tool</a> and find out exactly how many people are searching about your affiliate offer. This will allow you to know what keywords you want to go after when creating your money page. Type in the name of the product once you&#8217;re at the site and make sure you check the &#8220;exact&#8221; box on the left sidebar too. Checkout how many visitors each keyword gets per month, and look at all the similar keywords below it.</p>
<p>You want at least a few thousand visitors on exact match for the keyword you choose. If you want to see other alternative keywords for your affiliate offer that people are searching, then type in your affiliate offer (exact name) into the google search engine and it will show you all the alternative keywords below that people are typing in. From most popular to least.</p>

<p><strong>3</strong>. Now it&#8217;s time to <a href="http://www.mathewday.com/2010/03/domain-name-tips-how-to-choose-a-domain-name/">choose a great domain name</a> and if you don&#8217;t have <a href="http://www.mathewday.com/2010/03/how-to-create-a-wordpress-blog-with-hostgator/">hosting</a> yet, you should get that now too. If you&#8217;re going to use your blog and just create a post for your money page, then that will work. It&#8217;s up to you if you want to create a mini niche site that will promote one affiliate offer, or just write a post on a blog that you already have.</p>
<p>If you are getting a domain to create a mini site, then choose something that has the affiliate product keyword that you chose to go after, in the domain name itself. This will allow you to rank much easier for it. I use wordpress.org and blogs for almost every money page, no matter what kind it is. Why? Search engines love blogs and wordpress, and you can easily make them look anyway you want. Not just in a blog format. I&#8217;m actually using <a href="http://www.mathewday.com/2012/02/headway-3-review/">Headway 3.0</a> for many of my simple money pages.</p>
<p><strong>4</strong>. It&#8217;s time to research the heck out of the affiliate offer you chose, especially if you&#8217;re not familiar with it or the topic. Actually having hands on experience with the affiliate offer would definitely help you to presell it better, but isn&#8217;t required. However, the more you know about the affiliate offer and the topic it&#8217;s in, the better you&#8217;ll be able to convert your visitors.</p>
<p>I always know the ins and outs of every affiliate offer I choose to make a money page for. Even if it&#8217;s something I&#8217;ve personally used before. I will still read other people&#8217;s reviews, read about it in forums, ask the owner questions, tryout their support and more. This way I have a ton of confidence and knowledge when I&#8217;m writing my money page. This in itself, the content that I&#8217;ll create from this knowledge gives me crazy conversion rates.</p>
<p><strong>5</strong>. Now you&#8217;re ready to write your content on the topic of your affiliate offer. Remember this is a presell so don&#8217;t be too forward and don&#8217;t make it too robotic. The more personal and informational you make your content, the better. Visitors are coming to your money page for an answer and a solution.</p>
<p>If you give them what they are looking for and help them in someway, then they&#8217;ll be like putty in your hands, and probably end up buying your affiliate offer. Make sure you read some of the tips below and keeping <a href="http://www.mathewday.com/seopressor" target="_blank">on-page seo</a> in mind too when writing your content. Cause you&#8217;re going to want to rank in the search engines for those targeted buying words.</p>
<p>Make sure you add some pages if it&#8217;s a mini niche site. It won&#8217;t look to good if it&#8217;s a blog with only a couple posts on it. I write my money page posts on a blog around 800 or more words. And for a mini niche site I create at least 2 posts and add a couple pages. The pages won&#8217;t be to long, but will have some helpful information around my chosen topic.</p>
<p><strong>Want to see an example of a successful money page in your niche?</strong></p>
<p>Just google your affiliate offer (the exact words) and you should see plenty of examples of money pages for that particular affiliate offer if you chose a popular one. You can get a good idea on how to create yours and what style seems to be working.</p>
<p>Don&#8217;t worry about the competition. You&#8217;ll get on the front page in the first spot if you did your on-page seo and put in some effort building <a href="http://www.mathewday.com/2009/07/top-9-ways-of-getting-powerful-backlinks/">backilinks</a>.</p>
<p><strong>6</strong>. It&#8217;s time to add some graphics to make your money page look appealing, not flashy. And to get attention to certain things like your affiliate offer, you&#8217;ll need to use images or graphics that they&#8217;ll see instantly when landing on your page.</p>
<p>One vital thing you need to remember is at least 90% of your visitors aren&#8217;t going to read your content word for word. Most are going to skim and see if they like your content and see if you have a solution or answer for them. That&#8217;s why you should break up your content into sections so they can read what they want to quickly and easily.</p>
<p><strong>7</strong>. It&#8217;s time to get <a href="http://www.mathewday.com/2010/03/how-to-get-web-traffic-to-your-websites-and-blogs-for-free/">traffic</a> and do some testing on how well you&#8217;re money page is doing. Check for clicks on your affiliate links and images and see how many clicks it takes to make a sale. Track all of this and if you have very low ratio&#8217;s then change it around. Your traffic should be highly targeted so a high percentage of your visitors should be clicking on your affiliate offer and then converting to a sale.</p>
<p><strong>I&#8217;ll tell you the truth</strong>. &#8211; There&#8217;s many good forms of getting traffic; like social media, viral marketing, forums, blog comments, article directories, list swapping and cross marketing with other marketers, but NOTHING can beat targeted traffic from Google and Bing search engines. It converts the best.</p>
<p>Think about when you buy something online, what method do you and your friends normally use when you make a final purchase?</p>
<p>Consider those things when you&#8217;re making a money page and when deciding on where you want to get your traffic.</p>
<p>When I create a money page, I&#8217;m going straight for the best money keyword for my affiliate offer on the front page of the search engines. I use social bookmarking and articles and etc&#8230; but they&#8217;re more for backlinks to my money page, not intended to convert that traffic to a sale.</p>
<h4>Tips to Increase Your Conversions on Your Money Pages</h4>
<ul>
<li>Don&#8217;t make your money page to salesy. People on the internet are much more savvy than they use to be and can smell your intentions a mile away. They&#8217;ll leave instantly and never comeback.</li>
<li>Look at your competitors for examples and ideas. The best way is to Google your main keyword or exact words of your affiliate offer. The one&#8217;s on the first spots on the first page probably know what they&#8217;re doing.</li>
<li>Keep testing different formats, graphics, content, links and different positions or placements of your links and graphics</li>
<li>Sometimes simplicity is better than the professional polished look</li>
<li>take chances and risks and be creative or you&#8217;ll never discover new things that will work or be innovative</li>
<li>look for coupons and discounts, or contact support and ask for one for your affiliate offer</li>
<li>choose affiliate offers that have a free trial, I always capitalize on this and make it well visible</li>
<li>use graphics and videos</li>
<li>I rarely ever use the original banners, create some of your own and test them</li>
<li>don&#8217;t make your site look flashy</li>
<li>don&#8217;t have a ton of affiliate links all over your content, usually i put one near the top of content, middle and at the end</li>
<li>show the benefits of your affiliate offer</li>
<li>show testimonials for your affiliate offer either in the middle of content or on sidebar</li>
<li>instead of using the words- click here -for your affiliate link, I like choosing words that build interest or lead to more information on the affiliate offer like (watch video here) I would turn those words into a link, it will get a much better CTR</li>
<li>always deliver what your visitors are looking for and that will lead to very high conversions</li>
</ul>
<p>Do some experimenting around with creating money pages for affiliate offers, and you&#8217;ll soon get the hang of it, and will be able to make money from home just about whenever you want too, passively.</p>

<p>Making money online by <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Affiliate_marketing" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">affiliate marketing</a> is one of the best ways to make extra money whenever you really want to. But here&#8217;s the catch. NO it&#8217;s not an easy ride, and NO it&#8217;s probably not for everyone. But if you&#8217;re reading this post, then you&#8217;re chances are really good to succeed with affiliate marketing because it means that you&#8217;re willing to take action, and you&#8217;re taking the first step right now. I&#8217;ve been in your shoes before so I&#8217;m going to go over what affiliate marketing is and what it takes to succeed at it.</p>
<h2>Is it Hard to Make Extra Money Online with Affiliate Marketing?</h2>
<p>Like I&#8217;ve mentioned before, I had NO tech, design, writing or internet skills when I first started to make money online with affiliate marketing. Even today, a few years later, I still don&#8217;t have much of those skills, but have acquired just enough to get by.</p>
<p>I&#8217;m telling you this because one of the first things that scared me a little when I was a beginner to making money online was the lack of these skills I possessed would keep me from ever succeeding online. But I&#8217;m telling you, that&#8217;s not true, so you can erase that from your head right now. With today&#8217;s resources and technology, there are many ways to get things done without knowing much about coding or designing that will allow you to stay competitive with the Top experts online.</p>
<p>To succeed with affiliate marketing you will need however to be motivated and willing to put in the effort. But you&#8217;ll be richly rewarded. Affiliate marketing is one of the best ways to make money online, especially for making passive income later down the road. So if you&#8217;re lazy or looking to get rich online with a magical push of a button, then you might as well quit right now while you&#8217;re ahead. Or you&#8217;re probably only going to get ripped off by some of the get rich quick schemes online that you&#8217;ll probably end up purchasing.</p>
<h3>What is Affiliate Marketing, exactly?</h3>
<p>Affiliate marketing is basically bringing traffic or visitors to someone&#8217;s business, and then being awarded for your successful efforts. The awards are usually money, and the company will require the visitor you sent to their site to take an action, either make a purchase, or sometimes even just optin (signup for more info) to their site.</p>
<p>It&#8217;s actually sounds quite simple, but easier said than done. The affiliate companies I work for give me a unique URL (the domain you see when hovering over a link) for their site and it tracks whenever someone clicks on it. Let&#8217;s say I write a post or put up a banner with that unique link to their company in it. When someone clicks on it and goes to their site and makes a purchase, then I&#8217;ll get credited for the sale automatically.</p>
<p>When someone clicks on your affiliate link, a cookie will be installed and be used for tracking purposes. Which usually last for at least 60 &#8211; 90 days. So if the person you referred to an affiliate offer decides to purchase between that time frame, and even if they go to the original site to make the purchase, you&#8217;ll still get credited for the sale. Pretty cool, right?</p>
<p>But here&#8217;s the cool part, affiliate marketing is one of the best ways to make extra money from home because there&#8217;s really nothing you have to deal with, but bringing traffic to someones business. You don&#8217;t handle anything else. There&#8217;s really no overhead, and you barely need any start up capital to start your own online business by affiliate marketing. That&#8217;s why this is one of the best ways to make money online even for beginners. If you just want to make extra money from home, then I highly suggest you get into affiliate marketing.</p>
<p>There are several ways of sending traffic to a businesses website. You can do it by word of mouth, social media, blogging, PPC (paid traffic methods) or having your own website. I cover many of these methods on here on this blog and if you have any questions then let me know.</p>
<h4>How to Find Affiliate Programs and Networks to Join</h4>
<p>Before you start making extra money from home by affiliate marketing, you&#8217;ll need to checkout some <a href="http://www.mathewday.com/affiliate-programs-networks">affiliate networks</a> or programs to get paid from. Almost any big company online has an affiliate program. Usually if you scroll all the way down to the footer of the site, you&#8217;ll see a link for affiliate program or partners. Also, there&#8217;s affiliate networks which will have several different opportunities for you to make money from with several different companies offers to choose from all in one place.</p>
<p><strong>How Much Extra Money Can You Make From Affiliate Marketing?</strong></p>
<p>It really depends on how much effort you&#8217;re going to put in, and how quickly you pick up on the different ways to make money online. But, I know this sounds crazy, many affiliate programs that I join payout at least 50% for each sale. Yeah, that&#8217;s right. I make as much for each sale as the business owner does. Some even pay 100% for the sales you refer. Why do they do this? Trust me, they are making money by other means like up sells and different offers. But their affiliates bring in traffic to their site and business, so they reward them by paying a high percentage. Affiliates are basically doing the marketing and advertising for their business.</p>
<p>Some people, called Super affiliates, make a killin online. These are people who have incredible skills at affiliate marketing and they make millions a year just from doing this full time. While thousands of others can easily make extra money from home in their own time. How much you want to make is really up to you. Whether it be a few hundred per month or a few thousand, this is definitely a reachable goal within a few months time.</p>
<h5>How I make Extra Money from Home Affiliate Marketing</h5>
<p>The first way was by creating small blogs or niche sites specific to one topic. This is still something I do today. But I&#8217;ve also taken it further by creating larger blogs, like this one in specific topics. I also make money with websites, blogs, paid traffic, SEO and social media. I use just about every way there is to make money online by affiliate marketing. Just start off by doing some research and gaining some knowledge about the different ways to make extra money online. This blog is a good start. Then I suggest you get started by <a href="http://www.mathewday.com/2010/03/how-to-create-a-wordpress-blog-with-hostgator/">creating a blog</a> in something that you&#8217;re interested in or have knowledge about, then finding some affiliate programs that are relevant to your blog. After some hard work you should start seeing the money rolling in passively. If you&#8217;ve got some questions, then please don&#8217;t hesitate to ask. YOU really don&#8217;t need to know much about coding or designing to make money online, or to be an internet marketer. But there are a few things you will need to learn how to do as far as html goes. Like how to create simple hyper links for you to insert into your posts or articles. I&#8217;ll show you the many different type of links that you can create and go over which each one is for.</p>
<h1>How to Create a Hyperlink in HTML</h1>
<p>First off, what is a <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hyperlink">hyperlink</a>? In simple terms, these are the clickable links on websites, blogs and articles that lead to another web page. Usually they are a different color, and sometimes they are underlined. You may need to create one to insert into an email, even social media when sharing information to others and writing content online. So basically anyone who uses the internet often, will need to know the basics about how to create a hyperlink in html.</p>
<p>They can also be called text links, contextual links, and hyper links. It&#8217;s probably the most common html coding there is. Just about everyone uses them even if you aren&#8217;t an internet marketer or blogger.</p>
<p>You will need to enter this coding in the html screen, not the visual editing screen. Whatever your platform that you&#8217;re using there should be a way for you to toggle from visual (what public sees) to html (where you can enter coding).</p>
<p><strong>Here&#8217;s the html to create a hyperlink</strong>:</p>
<p>&lt;a href=&#34;http:&#47;&#47;Enter-site-here.com/&#34;>Enter Words Here&lt;/a></p>
<p>Just copy and paste, and make sure you enter your own info in the proper spaces. Play around a little with it until you get it down correctly.</p>
<h2>How to Create Affiliate Links and their Attributes</h2>
<p>Now for you affiliate and internet marketers, we have to take it even a little further than just the plain hyperlink. You can use just regular hyperlinks or text links if you want to for your affiliate links, but most of us don&#8217;t. Why? Naked affiliate links are ugly, long and show our information for the world to see.</p>
<p>There are many free services like: <a href="https://bitly.com/" target="_blank">bitly</a> and <a href="http://tinyurl.com/" target="_blank">tiny url</a> that will redirect your affiliate links for you. They are shorter links, but I rarely use them. For one, you&#8217;re completely depending on their service, and the links still look kinda weird.</p>
<p>There are plugins and other tools like: <a href="http://www.mathewday.com/ninja-affiliate" target="_blank">Ninja affiliate plugin</a>, <a href="http://www.oiopublisher.com/ref.php?u=2944" target="_blank">oio publisher</a> and <a href="http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/pretty-link/" target="_blank">pretty links</a> which are much better, but that&#8217;s if you&#8217;re a blogger and using wordpress.org. You&#8217;ll be able to track your links, add new links easily, they look much better since they have your site&#8217;s url in them, and many other features. This is the method I mostly use.</p>
<h3>Now even more options for affiliate links.</h3>
<p><strong>The Domain redirect link</strong></p>
<p>Have you ever seen a website&#8217;s URL, and you click on it, and it takes you to the original affiliate site? Some sneaky affiliate marketers will buy a domain name that&#8217;s similar to the original site so people will think it&#8217;s the real site when they hover over the text link. The easiest way to do this is going into your cpanel of your hosting and doing a redirect on the domain name to the affiliate site. It&#8217;s really that simple.</p>
<p><strong>The PHP redirect Link</strong></p>
<p>This will require you to <a href="http://www.clickconsultants.com/using-php-to-redirect-affiliate-links" target="_blank">create a folder</a> in your File Manager of your hosting, and redirecting your link to the affiliate site by using PHP. This is a great way to redirect the affiliate links and hiding your info, but to much techie stuff for me to mess with. Go to that link for exact simple instructions on how to use this method.</p>
<h4>Affiliate HyperLink Attributes</h4>
<p>The first one is the <strong>NO Follow attribute</strong>. This will tell search engine spiders to not follow your link. It&#8217;s a good way to keep your sites Link Juice or pagerank from going to another site, in theory of course. If you have the right tools on your browser turned on to <a href="http://www.mathewday.com/2010/07/how-to-tell-if-a-backlink-is-dofollow-or-nofollow/" target="_blank">highlight nofollow links</a> they will appear pink or reddish glow.</p>
<p><strong>here&#8217;s the html with the nofollow added to a hyperlink</strong>:</p>

<p><strong>To make the link appear in a new tab or page then you would use this hyperlink</strong>:</p>

<p>Now I just learned about adding a link to an authoritative site for SEO purposes on a niche site or your money pages. This tells Google that your article is informative and helpful so in theory this helps your site rank easier for whatever term of your choosing because you&#8217;re linking out to a trusted source. But you probably don&#8217;t want people leaving your site, and following the link to the authoritative site, so many savvy affiliate marketers hide this link. I usually link to wikipedia or other educational sites.</p>
<p><strong>Here&#8217;s how to create a hyperlink that is hidden from view</strong>:</p>

<p><strong>What&#8217;s Really Stopping You?</strong></p>
<p>You&#8217;re Fears, laziness, or a boat load of other excuses.</p>
<p>If you&#8217;re going to truly change and start doing, then you must realize you&#8217;re the only one holding yourself back, -Point Blank!</p>
<p>Don&#8217;t you just really makeup excuses so you can feel better about yourself for giving up, or not trying at all.</p>
<p>Instead of looking at all the reasons why you can&#8217;t do something, change your thinking around and start doing everything you can do, to achieve it.</p>
<p>Cause if you don&#8217;t, then somebody with less than you, has it far worse than you, will.</p>
<p>And later down the road, you&#8217;ll still be there sitting in the same place, and you&#8217;ll be admiring them.</p>
<p>I heard this the other day on a <a href="http://www.viperchill.com/podcasting/" target="_blank">podcast from Glen</a>.</p>
<p>He said something similar to this:</p>

<p>That made me ask myself, is that me? I&#8217;ll confess, yes it was. But not anymore.</p>
<p>That really helps motivate me to not just be another average internet marketer, blogger, or just another talker.</p>
<p>Think about this for a moment&#8230;.</p>
<p>Every successful person you know, or any person who is truly living the lives they want too, top internet marketers, artists, inventors, movie stars and you&#8217;re idols, have one thing in common. <span style="text-decoration: underline;">They&#8217;re doers -not talkers</span>.</p>
<p><strong>Don&#8217;t just settle for average</strong></p>
<p>The thing is, if you were just like everyone else, you wouldn&#8217;t really care about actually doing things. You would be satisfied just talking about them. And you wouldn&#8217;t still be reading this blog post.</p>
<p>But you do care, and it bothers you.</p>
<p>Cause you know you can make a difference, do something better, change things, and live the life that you want too.</p>
<p>Now it&#8217;s time to start doing something towards reaching it.</p>
<p>Are you ready?</p>
<p><strong>The Complete 180</strong></p>
<p>First off, you need to admit and own up to the fact that what you&#8217;ve been doing, or the lack of, isn&#8217;t working.</p>
<p>Now you need to start taking some form of action, the first step to accomplishing whatever it is that you want to do, and keep moving forward.</p>
<p>Or, if you&#8217;ve already started something, but know it&#8217;s going in the wrong direction, then you need to reassess what you&#8217;ve been doing, and decide on the steps you need to take, to get back on the right track.</p>
<p>You need to drastically change what you&#8217;re doing right now, and go in an entire new direction. Expose yourself to different people, see, hear and do different things.</p>
<p>Cause you already know, everything you&#8217;re doing right now, isn&#8217;t working.</p>
<p>It&#8217;s time to &#8211; <strong>step out of your comfort zone and take risks</strong>. This is the only way for real growth.</p>
<blockquote><p>No greatness has ever been achieved by holding back or playing it safe.</p></blockquote>
<p>It&#8217;s time to let the world know what you&#8217;ve really been holding in, and accomplish what you already knew all along that you could achieve.</p>
<p>But just never took that first step, or kept pushing forward when things got too hard.</p>
<p>Cause it&#8217;s not going to be easy, and you already know that.</p>
<p>This time, it&#8217;s going to take everything you got, it&#8217;s going to be the fight of your life.</p>
<p>Commit fully, or don&#8217;t even start. It&#8217;s either you&#8217;re all in, or all out.</p>
<p>Half in isn&#8217;t going to take you anywhere meaningful, you&#8217;ve tried that before.</p>
<p><strong>Whatever you need, it&#8217;s out there, just waiting</strong>.</p>
<p>If you need some inspiration, a motivator, help in general, then go find it. Don&#8217;t sit there and wait for it to come to you, cause it may never come.</p>
<p>Do whatever you need to do, to help you take action and accomplish what you really want.</p>
<p>Even if it&#8217;s putting inspirational quotes, goals, or a picture of your dream car on your mirror, to help remind you everyday, the life change(s) that you are making.</p>
<p>This isn&#8217;t going to be a total transformation or life change, overnight.</p>
<p>You might be feeling pumped, psyched, and ready to conquer after reading this post, <em>which would be awesome</em>, but it&#8217;s going to wear off, and the real world will start once again.</p>
<p>Then you&#8217;ll be back to that all so very familiar comfortable place you&#8217;ve been before. And be thinking, am I actually going to change, or stay the same?</p>
<p>The sole responsibility of making a change and going after what you really want, is held completely on you.</p>
<p>Nobody, or nothing else.</p>
<p>You don&#8217;t even need to worry about moving forward by leaps and bounds. Small steps on a daily basis towards your goals, is better than staying at the same exact place.</p>
