Squidoo Lenses and Hubpages for Backlinks?

People have talked about using Squidoo lenses and Hub pages for High Quality backlinks in the past, including myself.   Both Squidoo and Hubpages are High PR sites with some authority coming from their sites.  But they are both stepping up their spam and junk policies with guarded gates.

Hubpages has a really great community. This is a great site to network, get backlinks, and to make some extra money from your content. There’s just one catch, before your links on your hubs are dofollow, you need to have a author profile score of at least 75. This is not a hard task at all, so don’t worry!! Many of the Hubbers will help you in their forum and there’s plenty of hubs that are just on that subject. I actually had written just one hub and did a little commenting on other hubs and my hub score was around 70. Here’s a link to my hubpages profile.

Now squidoo does have DO Follow on for all their links on their lenses but they are cleaning house from now until July 20th or later they said.  They are getting rid of all spammers, junk lenses, xrated lenses and the list goes on and on….check it out here www.squidoo.com They want better quality and less affiliate spamming pretty much.  They now won’t let you create lenses with the following subjects:

Free movie downloads.
Hoodia Gordoni.
Acai berry reviews.
Toenail fungus sales.
LoseBellyFat!
Pharmaceuticals.
WoW gold farming.
Forex reports.
Adult content.

This will be bad for some and good for others.  Cleaning out the junk and making stronger policies will make Squidoo and Hubpages look more authoritive and higher quality to the search engines and thus should produce even more backlink juice for those of us who use both of them and abide by their rules.

GoDaddy Domain Sale & Promo Codes ~ Godaddy Domain Redirect Video

I have had some people asking about how to redirect domain names with Godaddy and what’s the best way to redirect without hosting.  Ok there are several ways to redirect.

Easiest way to redirect your domain if you have hosting is obviously go into your cpanel and redirect any domains you want to.  People do this when they are selling a product for a affiliate company and want to make their link look professional.

Instead of this for example:  “www.affiliatecompany.com/affiliateref#12343″. By redirecting that same url, you could turn it into this “www.affiliatecompanysale.com” and it would redirect when clicked to the example url.  Doesn’t the second one look better?

How to redirect domain names with Godaddy?  I found a really great video on how to do this so watch the video.   It’s so simple.  You could do this method even without any hosting.  Many people do this for ppc.

That is the easiest way to redirect if you don’t have hosting.  There are a few other good ways to redirect domains if you have hosting but are more complicated and I’m not going into that in this post.

I normally use Hostgator for my hosting and domains.  Just in case you don’t know about HG, they are one of the Top Hosting companies in the world and also have over 1.8 million domains registered thru them.  They also have VIP support, Instant chat so I can talk to support with IM.  It’s pretty awesome.

I have a few hosting accounts from them and don’t even remember how many domains.  I have however just recently started getting all my domain names from Godaddy.  Why?….#1 reason is because hostgator has gone up on Domain names – $15 for .coms…to much.

Godaddy is having a “Huge Domain Sale” right now and I’ve got some Sweet Promo codes that work with them and most of these promo codes are non expiring.   Godaddy is the #1 domain company in the world so they are very reliable and trustworthy.

Godaddy Domain Sale – try some of the promos below and get a cheaper price.

Godaddy Hosting Specials – Throw in the 10% host promo below.

Here are the Go Daddy Promo codes below.  Enter them when you make a purchase.  There will be a “Put Promo Code Here” when you are registering a domain or host.  Try different combinations with the sale links above.

I don’t know which promos will work if you purchase thru the already on sale godaddy links.  I do know they work, I have just recently used them.  Don’t worry, if the promo code doesn’t work with a special sale link then you will know before you make final purchase.  They aren’t trying to trick you.  You’ll see the discounted price before final purchase.

Godaddy Domain Promo Codes Most are Non Expirinig

FPT2 – $5 off $30 or more of any purchase
NEW3 – $3 OFF ANY DOMAIN
NEW1 – 10% OFF ANY ORDER
NEW2 – $5 off any order $30 or more
LOVE99 – 1$ domains
FPT1 – 10% off any hosting plan

Most Godaddy promo codes don’t work anymore. They now just usually have daily sales that you’ll see currently when you click on those special discount links above.

If you know of anymore promo’s for godaddy, then let me know and I’ll add them.

cheers!

How to Make Money with Twitter the Smart Way

Twitter is a great place for meeting cool new people, networking, social media and just having fun online in your spare time.  I just recently joined Twitter and I see now the HUGE potential it has on influencing people and getting the latest HOT Trends and news updates before anyone else.

One particular topic many new Twitters want to know is how to make money with Twitter even if your not a celebrity, a BIG Dog or have experience with SMM? (social media marketing)

I learn new things about Twitter everyday.  There is so much information once you get into it and more tools than you would have time to even use in your lifetime.

Since I am a experienced marketer and SEM, I’ve noticed many newbies spam affiliate links (links for companies who pay you a percentage) especially for Clickbank – king of ebook downloads.

One piece of advice.  CB is also known for allowing you to purchase any ebook they have with your own affiliate link.  One of the few affiliate programs that allow you to do this but they really don’t want you to just use CB for that sole purpose.  Almost everyone and there grandma knows about CB.

They know they can just buy thru their own link or url.  My point being is people don’t like spamming and there’s like a 1/2% chance you will make a sale with clickbank links.  Not trying to knock anyone, just being real.

How to Make Money with Twitter the Smart Way!

You need to first obviously gain quality followers who are interested in you and what you offer as a human being.  You could inject your Twitter account with steroids (automated programs) to get followers, some are against them and others live by them.

I’ll leave that up to you, I’m not going to get into that in this post.  Have fun with Twitter, be yourself, help others with good advice and having a humorous side doesn’t hurt.

Don’t spam CB links, there are so many great resources and tools out there that actually help fellow twitterers and other methods that will help you make money with twitter.  A couple legit programs that I just recently learned about is tweetbucks and Twittads .

Another method is to promote multi tier affiliate programs.  What is that?  These are affiliate programs that pay you on referrals you send directly to them and you also make a percentage from affiliates that signup under you.

Gives you a better chance to make some money whether the person buys from your link or if they get greedy and want to sell the same product you recommended.

There are several great multi tier affiliate programs out there to make money on Twitter but here’s some good one’s below and their links for their affiliate programs.

tweetlater
tweetadder
sitesell
getresponse
residualwebsites

Keep track of your clicks (free service bitly) to see what kind of products your followers are interested in and lose the programs that aren’t winners.

Have fun with Twitter and there’s nothing wrong with making a few extra dollars while doing it.

cheers!

Why should you start a Blog?

Like many of you know already, I’m not new to Internet Marketing or making money online.  However, I have just recently started my own personal internet marketing blog and the only reason is because I have learned and seen the HUGE Potential a blog has on your presence online, business, branding and opening new opportunities for other ventures.

The potential of making more money or becoming rich online is much greater with a blog.  Why?…… for this post I’m going to give you some Insight on the 5 blogs that I have followed for a very long time.

1. Shoemoney – His blog has been up for about 5 years and roughly he makes about 1/2 a million from sponsors etc….a year.  His blog is worth around  $248,000 currently. WoW, right.  keep reading!

2. ProBlogger – His blog has been up for 51/2 years and roughly makes 1/2 million give or take 100k, per year from sponsors etc…. His blog is currently worth 2.4 Million.  Did you want to make offer?….lol

3. JohnChow – His blog has been up for 9 years and roughly makes about the same 1/2 million a year sponsors and etc…. His blog is currently worth over $183,000 … still not to shabby, right.

4. Entrepreneurs-journey (Yaro) His blog has been up for over 4 years and makes lower mid 6 figures a year from sponsors and etc….. His blog is currently worth over $131,000.

5. Carlocab a.k.a (13 year old blogger) His blog has been up for over 2 years and he makes in the lower six figures from sponsors and etc… per year.  His blog is worth over $21,000.  Hey, not bad for a kid and only being up for 2 years.  I’ll never be able to catch up to him. :-)

I hope that you saw the potential of what a blog can do for you and why you should start a blog.  I know, chances of becoming that successful with a blog or making that kind of money online is like 1% but someone has to be the next big name, Why can’t it be you?

Almost all of them started blogging and were not expecting to become so BIG or even trying to become famous.  They were either hobbies or a journal of what they were doing online at the time, not really to make money from them.

A blog is just one of the ways most of them make money.  For instance, Shoemoney has Shoemoney Media Group INC.  I heard his blogs revenue of 1/2 a million a year only makes up like 3-6 percent of his entire companies revenue.

His blog and for the others as well have given all of them the Popularity and Traffic to launch other successful businesses.   Then, they just connect all of them together into one SUCCESSFUL (Enterprise) or Business.  That’s why Branding is so important.

It’s what makes you or breaks you.  Think of how you want to brand yourself first and then the Sky is the Limit!  Oh yeah, I suggest you stay in touch with those blogs mentioned above if you want success online.  Yes, there are other big names out there but I didn’t want to write about this topic all night…. :-)

cheers!

Add Value to Your Blog or Website

What is the #1 Most Important Must Have for your Blog or Website? You wanted to say content right….Content is king and very important but the #1 Must Have for online success would be “Value“.

Value for your blog or website is the most important thing you should work on.  Yes, you need everything else but without value you won’t have anyone to buy or look at what you took so long to create.

Value is just human nature you won’t be able to change it.  Just like regular life think of your friends, curricular activities and hobbies.  Why do you do them or need them.  They bring you or give you something that you are looking for in your life.  Friends and family, what value do they bring or give you?

You probably wouldn’t hangout with people who bring you down or are boring right…. You make friends with people who bring value to your life in some way or form.  Whether its just to hangout with or vent your bad day to friends are valuable to you in some way.  Theres a reason why you call them or hang with them everyday or week.

There has to be some reason why people want to stay on your site or a reason why they want to buy from your site.  Maybe it’s a informational site/blog then what makes people want to go to your site or read it.  Just like the fairly new blog I Haz Cheezburgerz it brings value by bringing humor and creativeness to people who obviously love it cause their revisits and word of mouth is off the charts!

The same goes for a website or blog if it doesn’t bring “value” to your potential customers then they won’t visit again or tell anyone about it.  Without value there’s no reason for them to ever come back to your site again.  Instead of always concentrating on making the sale you really need to focus on bringing real 100% “value” to your blogs and sites for your potential customers.

What “value” do you provide your readers and potential customers?

Outsourcing and Finding a FreeLancer Tips

I decided to write about outsourcing and finding a good freelancer tips today since that is what I’ve been getting into lately.  I love outsourcing work to freelancers online, it saves a ton of time and  I can get certain jobs done that I can’t do.  I pretty much know what I need to know about internet marketing and everything that goes with that.  I can pretty much do or know where to go to get any job done correctly.

I have a full time job so time is valuable to me and I will admit there are some coding and a few other things that I’m not a pro at so I like to outsource some of my programming and writing quite often.  If You Have the MONEY, IMO why not outsource.  It costs money yes, sometimes a lot of money but if I know I’m going to make it back and PLUS some then I don’t ever lose sleep over it.

Finding a Freelancer online doesn’t always cost a grip either.  Put up a job and you will be amazed at how many people want the job BIG or small for a small amount of money.  You can also write it off as a expense as well.  Outsourcing content is a beautiful thing.

I can have pro. written article or subjects I don’t know to much about written for me with all the seo juice packed into it.  There are many good sites for content just google it or here are some places I use for outsourcing and finding freelancers.

Digital Point forums just go into the freelance section for jobs and post your job or problem, you’ll find freelancers usually within a few minutes you’ll have many top writers and programmers that want the job.

Sitepoint is a great place to outsource and find freelancers for whatever as well.  Many good freelancers for everything you would need one for your internet marketing ventures.

One of my secret outsourcing SEO content creation sites I love using is www.seo-peace.com – Have something done by them and you won’t regret it their writers are out of this world or look at some work they’ve done.  This isn’t no affiliate link none of these on this post are.  I don’t like using craigslist cause there’s to many phonies on there IMO.  Go ahead and try them if you want they are like the #1 site in size for freelancing jobs.

3 other great sites to outsource and find a freelancer.

www.guru.comwww.programmermeetdesigner.comwww.ifreelance.com

Outsourcing and finding a great freelancer Tips:

  • Checkout there background and comments whatever info you have to see what others say about them and what kind of work they’ve done.
  • Don’t ever trust them, at first once you chat with them or done some projects with them you’ll be able to read them out still never let your guard down.  Like passwords etc….
  • I like to post a amount of money I’ll pay upfront on the post.  Always start low just like haggling when buying a car.  I start low and the price usually always increases.  Some of these freelancers are good at haggling you they’ll do the job and then assume your going to pay more.  The humble ones who don’t want extra money are keepers.
  • I always be talking to them live either by phone, cam or IM.  That way they are letting me know what’s the progress or whatever instantly and I know they aren’t just sitting there and letting time run on and going to overcharge me.

Finally your mission is to outsource and find freelancers for future jobs or even become partners.  I have a small group of couple writers and programmers who can do programming and designing for me at the drop of a dime.  I will admit I am impatient sometimes so I have a small group of freelancers that i can contact instantly cause I know when there online and have whatever job done quickly and efficiently.

I know them pretty well and they know me so it is perfect harmony at least most of the time.  I know about how much their going to charge me and they know what kind of work I want done, much easier when you get a team going on for yourself but you’ll have to find them and that’s not always easy.

Ad Position for PPC Marketing

What’s the best ad position for ppc marketing?  That is a good question and one that I’m still trying to figure out.  But I will give you my two cents and tell you what is working for me currently.

Ad position makes a big difference because it will make your clicks cost more or less and how many people will click on it…right.  Finding the right ad position for your ppc campaign is crucial to make good roi.

When I am bidding on actual product namebrand, the actual name of website you’re affiliating with I like to be #1.  Yes it costs more per clicks at first but that is the money making keyword.  People who don’t know about IM and put are looking for the specific keyword or website they are likely to click on the first ad they see on top of page.

They don’t know it isn’t the actual original owners site or not and they probably don’t care.  Pretty much if they know the actual name of website and use that as the keyword then they already know about what the site is about and probably want to buy.

When I’m not bidding on product names or actual website names then I like to be either on the bottom of the list or between position 3 – 5.  That way I’m not paying the high keyword price 1 or 2 but visitors will see my add on the right probably on top or middle.  It’s a good spot to still catch the potential customers eye with a good ad.

I noticed being on the bottom of the page for your ad you’ll get really low click thru and that leads to lower quality score which leads to higher costing clicks.  The only time to be on the bottom would be you have a Killer ad so you still get good amount of clicks.

Landing Page Tip – Make More Conversions

Here’s a great landing page tip to get more conversions.   Instead of showing and telling the features of a product on your landing page you should tell them the benefits or results of purchasing your product.

Try it out on some test runs I know you will probably make more conversions with a landing page pointing out the “benefits” rather than the features.  Here’s an example of what I’m talking about for let’s say a PC cleaner.

features:

  • virus protection
  • spam filter
  • firewall

Benefits:

  • Protection from all online viruses
  • Online security from potential threats
  • Faster Computer

I know it isn’t exactly worded the way I would use for a landing page but I think you get the idea.   What one would  make you want to purchase the features or the benefits.  But remember that features and benefits or results will be very similar but their is a thin line between the two.

I am going to be running some tests on this theory and will post them on here when I get results.  Anyways I have to give credit to my boy shoemoney.com for this landing page tip.  He is the king of affiliate marketing.
