ProBlogger – This blog is filled with tips, tutorials and insight from the pioneer of  blogging. Darren Rowse, (problogger) one of the most successful bloggers out there is very helpful and genuine. You’ll find posts on everything from beginning a blog to having the most successful blog online just by digging through Problogger’s archives, which is also where you’ll find his best content. Most of his posts are very elaborate and personally written from Darren Rowse himself. Until just recently, guest bloggers write a majority of his posts.

CopyBlogger – Unless you’re already a gifted technical genius at copywriting, then this is one blog that continually produces content that can improve your writing. I learned once I got into internet marketing that being able to write great copy is practically everything. But it doesn’t come easily for everyone and takes quite a bit of skill. ShoeMoney – Now Jeremy Schoemaker isn’t the most technical writer out there and comes off as a party animal. JohnChow – He makes money online by teaching others how to make money online. He’s relentless with his marketing tactics and is a very smart internet marketer. You can learn quite a bit from his many helpful posts on different ways to make money online found on his blog and just by observing what he does.

DailyBlogTips – A new helpful tip on blogging or internet marketing is posted daily. Some will be more beneficial than others but definitely a high quality blog worth visiting daily. Most of the posts will be short and to the point.

SethGodin – The blog looks simple and plain, but the content is ingenious. Seth is a master at writing and marketing. You’ll find some real gems throughout his blog and he continuously writes about topics in a whole new angle.

YoungPrePro – This is a young blogger who took the internet by storm. His blog seemed to appear outta nowhere and quickly became a very popular internet marketing blog filled with tips and tutorials from a highly skilled youngster.

ChrisBrogan – He’s well known for his social media skills. Anything about social media and networking can pretty much be found on his blog. His posts are insightful and written on a daily basis to help you take your social networking to the next level.

ViperChill – Glen Allsopp is one of the savviest young internet marketers out there and known for his viral marketing skills. His blog is filled with his personal experiences and his latest business ideas. You won’t be able to find more insightful and detailed posts anywhere else on the internet.

These were just some of my favorite internet marketing blogs that I visit on the regular. So, what blogs do you read on a daily basis and why?

One of the first ways I learned to make some pretty easy money online was to be the first one to jump on board on any new affiliate offers. So a new product, service etc… is released, then just be one of the first to blog about it or even create a mini site about it. If you do this, then you”ll have a really good chance of being the first site that appears whenever someone types in the search engines for that particular new product or service.

Here’s what’s going on now. Any of my posts that I add content to or change up after the post is already published are disappearing in the Google serp’s altogether. So, any of my money posts that I made any changes to have all disappeared in the search engines. Yes, the pages were indexed and no, my blogs weren’t being sand-boxed. Also, I didn’t change the URL’s or the title tags, just some of the content.

This only happened to my posts that I was changing after they were already published, and I only noticed this ever since the latest Google Algorithm update.

-Moral of the story. If you write money posts on brand new affiliate offers, then you might want to reconsider making any changes to them once you’ve published them until after a few weeks have passed. And you’ve made some money and your rankings have fallen anyways, just to be on the safe side. Or maybe, this was just all coincidence and only happening to me. All I know I lost a lot of income because I changed up just about every money page on a couple of my blogs right before the last Google algorithm update, and I lost all traffic to those pages from the search engines. Ouch! You live and you learn.

Xheader – Probably my favorite tool and use it on a daily basis. Not only do I create professional headers for my niche sites in a matter of minutes using this tool, it’s also great for creating simple web graphics and logos too. It’s very quick and simple to use, yet produces some really great designs.

Gimp – This is the most complicated tool out of the list, but packs a big punch. Create much more complicated designs with this free graphics design tool. There tutorials are very helpful and pretty much will walk you step by step if you need any help. You’ll easily be able to design 3d images, textured backgrounds, altered images and many other web designs.

Grsites – This site makes it very easy to create textured backgrounds for your web sites and blogs. You can either create your own or use one of the pre-existing ones. Very simple to create your own logos and other simple graphics too.

DropShadowz – I like using this site to add those cool looking drop shadows to my images. The other tools can do the same thing, but this site just makes it much simpler.

All of the free web design softwares and tools above are easy to use and will allow you to create just about any type of web design you may need, no matter your skill level. You should now have the resources to create just about any web graphic, header, banner and logos whenever you want to. I like to experiment a lot and add things to my web graphics to see what looks and works best. So have fun creating and now you no longer have to just settle for whatever design is available.

There are thousands of different article directories on the internet. However, one thing I’ve learned from experience, they are not all equal. Not even close! There’s actually only a small handful that’s even worth your time. A few things to look for right away are, their pagerank, dofollow, categories and if it’s a well trafficked site.

Many people still think the more backlinks the better and submit their content to as many article directories that they can. However, quality always out beats quantity. Dofollow or Nofollow, how to know for sure?

Here are two tools every webmaster should install, the Alexa Toolbar and FireFox Search Status bar. You’ll be able to see information for any site instantly and be able to tell if the links are dofollow or nofollow. Just in case you didn’t know already, a dofollow link passes on link juice to the following site and the search spiders will follow it. While a nofollow link does the total opposite.

Also, I’ve found if it’s a really beneficial and well written article, then more people will link to it as a source.

The search engine spiders love content and visit the article directories constantly because of it. The higher the quality and page rank of the article directories you use, the better your articles will do in the search engines, usually.

Even though you’re using article directories with high page rank, make sure to add a few backlinks to your articles. It’s good to be a go-getter, ambitious and relentless. If you want to be successful online, you’re going to have to be willing to put in work and effort where others would’ve givin-up or called it a day. It’s no joke, the internet marketing world is competitive as ever and will probably only continue to become more so as time goes on.

I use to think this was the way to go and the right attitude to have. But after I’ve been doing this internet marketing thing for awhile, I’ve evolved and learned this isn’t always the case. Simple errors, discouragement, poor quality work, writers block and etc. are common results of overworking yourself and not getting adequate rest.

I’ve learned, especially for this type of work, internet marketing and blogging. That a fresh mind can be more creative, detailed oriented, efficient, produce better content, and able to stay focused much better.

Have you ever forced yourself to write a blog post, finish a website, or write another article even when you were beat? But then you did finish it and it took you much longer than it regularly does. Or maybe, even the quality of it was so poor that you had to redo it anyways. Doesn’t really make much sense if you think about it.

I’m not saying to put making money online and internet marketing on the back-burner, or even to lay in bed all day if you’re tired.

Like for me, if I didn’t get much sleep that night. Instead of forcing myself to put in my 10 or so hours straight, I’ll maybe work a few hours and then take a couple hour cat nap. I wake up refreshed, brain juices flowing and I’m ready to get back into it. I’m much more productive and efficient.

Or, I’m feeling burned out and not up to par (maybe did a little to much partying night prior) I’m not going to force myself to write a pillar 2,000 word blog post. I’ll do something more like work on the design of one of my sites, seo, or networking.

Don’t force yourself to work endless hours on the computer just because you think you have to. Take a quick nap, break, or get your mind off of what you’re doing for a little while. Go spend time with family or friends, workout, jog, play video games, or etc. At least for me, I’ve found taking a break when you need one from the computer, produces much better results and makes me a better internet marketer.

Instant gratification is what we are all looking for, yet with blogging, the experts say there’s no such thing. However, I’ve been noticing this isn’t exactly the case anymore.

Maybe you’ve seen some of them before and didn’t realize it, the new breed of bloggers popping into the scene. Let’s call them “Super Bloggers”. Most of them are youngsters, whatever the age, they are all new to blogging, yet know how to get their blog noticed very quickly. These new Super Bloggers are receiving more traffic and authority to their blogs within a few months time, than the average blogger will ever see in their life time. Most of them have these key things in common. I listed them for you below.

1. Confidence – This is one of the key factors to be successful in anything, but don’t forget you gotta be confident even if you’re a new blogger. Don’t be hesitant about what you write about and how you blog, be committed and give 100% to everything you do. Everyone makes mistakes, the smart ones learn from them. It’s human nature for us to admire and follow people who are confident. Even though you’re a new blogger, be confident in what you write blog about, your readers will be able to sense it or the lack of it. It’s all in the head, you are whoever you think you are.

2. Guest Posting – You’ve probably heard about this a 100 times before, guest posting on an A-listers blog is the best way to get exposure, and could help make your career. You could get enough recognition and traffic to crash your servers. Leveraging the immense traffic from a famous blog is just plain smart. Then again, if you have a lousy blog and or content, it could backfire.

3. BIG Cajones (No fear) – This ties into 1 and 2 above. Many new bloggers think it should take a long time to buildup their status, authority and traffic. They let their fears tell them, they aren’t ready to guest post on “Problogger” yet, or I have no experience so I can’t blog about that, and etc.. Take risks and don’t be afraid to try something new and expanding your horizons. Doing things out of the ordinary could put you on the map. 4. Killer Titles – Just by using a good title in your articles, you can create a lot of buzz and attention to your blog posts. I’d say a Huge percentage don’t even read your entire posts, so just by having a killer title makes you look like you know what you’re talking about and makes them want to comeback to your blog.

5. Branding – Creating a brand name and Spreading it for everything you do online will get you and your blog noticed much quicker. Such as your domain name and your user names for everything like social media sites, forums, and etc… People will start noticing your brand name and will start associating you and your blog to it.

6. Blog Commenting – Being social and adding intelligent comments to blogs in your niche, especially the authoritative blogs will give you a ton of exposure and is a great way of getting your blog noticed by others in the same niche.

I’ll be honest, I don’t come across to many things online that are FREE that I actually download or signup for since it’s usually a waste of my time. Are you choosing the right keywords?

Many times newbies will write in forums about they are getting xxxx amount of targeted traffic to their sites or lp’s and NO conversions. A lot of times they think it’s their content or layout, but usually they are targeting the wrong keywords. They maybe getting targeted relevant traffic to their site, but not for (buying words) or targeted keywords where the visitor will make a purchase the same day or shortly after. With the right (buying words) your visitors are ready to make a purchase now!

You could possess the skills to pre-sell anything to anyone and have the best copy writing skills, but if you aren’t getting traffic that is ready to make a purchase right now, then you won’t be seeing any sales. You don’t want window shoppers either because chances are they will click on someone else’s affiliate link before they make a final purchase and you won’t get credit for the sale.

The amount of traffic sometimes doesn’t matter…

This is another thing I hear all the time. I have a website and it gets 1000′s of unique visitors a day and I only make a couple sales a day from it. Where one of my money sites may get only 100 UV’s a day and I’ll get 10 sales or better from that little amount of traffic. For my money sites, I concentrate more on the conversion ratio for the keywords rather than the amount of traffic. I definitely do the same for my PPC campaigns. That’s how you’ll spend less and make more. The better you laser target your keywords into (buying words) the more profit and sales you will make.

How to find (buying words)?

How do you actually find these keywords that brings in money traffic to your sites? A lot of it is common sense. I like to think of keywords I would type in if I were to buy something, maybe I’ll even ask a family member or friend what keywords they would use. That can give you some ideas. Also, obviously you can use a keyword tool. My two favorites would be Google keyword tool and wordtracker.

Okay, now you are getting a list of relevant targeted keywords for your site so how do you know if they are buying words? One good way is to see how many sponsored ads appear for each individual keyword. If I see a lot of competition for a specific keyword, then that let’s me know they are making conversions. Then again, some keywords are more aimed for internet marketing newbies who think it’s a “money word” when it’s not. With a little experience and common sense you’ll be able to tell if the ads you see are from seasoned pro’s or newbies in the ppc game.

That’s pretty much it, then the rest is up to your sales copy, experimenting and testing.
