I Started Pay Per Click (PPC) Advertising with NO Money
When I first started Pay Per Click (PPC) advertising a couple years ago, I began with the 3 most popular PPC programs, Google Adwords, Yahoo Search Marketing and Microsoft Adcenter. I spent NO Money at all to start all 3 programs because I used Vouchers or FREE Credits. Many people don’t know that if you’re opening an account for the first time with many of the pay per click programs you can usually find some sort of voucher or given FREE credits to try it out.

I learned the basics of pay per click advertising, then I continued learning as much as I could about PPC while experimenting for FREE.
I’ve noticed PPC vouchers or promo codes aren’t as easy to come by anymore, but you can still find them. Just do a search for them in the search engines, look for them in the internet marketing forums and many of the PPC training programs will have some type of FREE credits for you too.
Don’t be scared to use PPC as a new means of marketing. I’ve always come ahead from any PPC campaign I launched, including when I first started. I always went by this rule of thumb, never let your costs go above the actual amount you would make from the sale. That way, I know right away if a add, keywords or affiliate offer isn’t working, and I can change something up.
I started with direct linking to affiliate offers and creating mini sites or landing pages for the same offers.
I’m not saying pay per click (PPC) is for everyone or that you’re easily going to make a profit. But if you want unlimited instant targeted traffic and a chance to increase your income by tenfold, then you may want to give pay per click marketing a shot.

Are You Choosing the Right Keywords (Buying Words)
One of the most important things you need to do before creating a money page or site for short term traffic is finding the right keywords (buying words) as I like to call them. These are keywords that bring in traffic to your money sites/pages and make a conversion within a short amount of time. Whether the traffic is from PPC or organic, doesn’t really matter. If you find the right keywords to use, you’ll always get a high conversion ratio if your sales pitch is decent.
Are you choosing the right keywords?
Many times newbies will write in forums about they are getting xxxx amount of targeted traffic to their sites or lp’s and NO conversions. A lot of times they think it’s their content or layout, but usually they are targeting the wrong keywords. They maybe getting targeted relevant traffic to their site, but not for (buying words) or targeted keywords where the visitor will make a purchase the same day or shortly after. With the right (buying words) your visitors are ready to make a purchase now!
You could possess the skills to pre-sell anything to anyone and have the best copy writing skills, but if you aren’t getting traffic that is ready to make a purchase right now, then you won’t be seeing any sales. You don’t want window shoppers either because chances are they will click on someone else’s affiliate link before they make a final purchase and you won’t get credit for the sale.
The amount of traffic sometimes doesn’t matter…

This is another thing I hear all the time. I have a website and it gets 1000′s of unique visitors a day and I only make a couple sales a day from it. Where one of my money sites may get only 100 UV’s a day and I’ll get 10 sales or better from that little amount of traffic. For my money sites, I concentrate more on the conversion ratio for the keywords rather than the amount of traffic. I definitely do the same for my PPC campaigns. That’s how you’ll spend less and make more. The better you laser target your keywords into (buying words) the more profit and sales you will make.
How to find (buying words)?
How do you actually find these keywords that brings in money traffic to your sites? A lot of it is common sense. I like to think of keywords I would type in if I were to buy something, maybe I’ll even ask a family member or friend what keywords they would use. That can give you some ideas. Also, obviously you can use a keyword tool. My two favorites would be Google keyword tool and wordtracker.
Okay, now you are getting a list of relevant targeted keywords for your site so how do you know if they are buying words? One good way is to see how many sponsored ads appear for each individual keyword. If I see a lot of competition for a specific keyword, then that let’s me know they are making conversions. Then again, some keywords are more aimed for internet marketing newbies who think it’s a “money word” when it’s not. With a little experience and common sense you’ll be able to tell if the ads you see are from seasoned pro’s or newbies in the ppc game.
That’s pretty much it, then the rest is up to your sales copy, experimenting and testing.
Offer Incentives to Promote Clickbank Products?
If you’ve been internet marketing for a little while now, I’m sure you’ve sold a Clickbank product every now and then so you’ve probably gone through this before. Right when you settle on a Clickbank product and get motivated to start promoting it. You start checking out the competition and keywords that would be best for conversions. And then you see the BIG PPC add or rarely you’ll see them organically in the serp’s, someone promoting the same CB offer, but offering an enticing incentive. Which pretty much kills any chances for you to make any conversions for those keywords. Then the question pops into your mind…….
Should I offer incentives to promote clickbank products?
Here’s the 2 main types-
The old cash-back incentive:
Purchase this thru my link and I’ll send you X amount of dollars back. You’ll get it in your paypal after I’ve confirmed the sale. First off, this is against Clickbank terms and policies. Go read it under letter E under the Clickbank terms. If you get ratted out or get caught, you could get your CB account banned or worse. What are these geniuses thinking anyways?
If you didn’t have a conscience and was a little crafty, all you gotta do is say thanks buddy, and purchase the CB product thru their link, confirm it and get your money. Then go back and refund the clickbank offer, and you just made yourself X amount of dollars. :)
The extra bonus incentive:
Now this one, I believe is totally fine and allowed. They even allow this for most of the strictest affiliate networks. The person purchases thru your link, they confirm it and then get some kind of bonus. Usually the bonus is some worthless plr package they probably purchased for a few dollars, but obviously the buyer doesn’t know this. Because they pitch the bonus so well.
Once in a blue moon, someone will actually offer a decent bonus. But then again how many people are going to purchase thru their link, get bonus and refund? With the 60 day money back guarantee, kind of makes it hard to use incentives for CB products.
However, many of these marketers also are building a list by making the consumer signup before they receive their FREE bonus, which isn’t a bad idea.
A good bonus on CB offers maybe successful if you’re demographics isn’t anything relevant to internet marketers. Unless maybe you’re totally targeting complete newbies.
In conclusion, you probably won’t see that big of a difference in PROFIT offering incentives with a CB purchase. Unless you know what you’re doing, but then again, if you had mad internet marketing skills, you probably wouldn’t be spending to much time slinging clickbank products, unless you’re creating your own to throw into their market.
Target Keywords to Indirectly Sell Another Affiliate Offer
Here’s a pretty cool little affiliate trick that is very effective for getting even more relevant traffic to your affiliate offers. I’m talking about targeting keywords to indirectly sell another affiliate offer. I’m sure you’ve seen it done before, but it’s so subtle that you may have not even realized what the marketers true intentions were.
This little affiliate marketing technique is great because you can get much more targeted relevant traffic, increase your chances for making a conversion, and build some trust. Also, it works well for either organic traffic or PPC campaigns.
But a skilled internet marketer can see right through these type of techniques. Every time I see this method being implemented, it still surprises me how many people actually fall for it and become loyal to the writer.
This is pretty much how it works….
Let’s say you find a good affiliate offer to promote and make some money from. The keywords for the affiliate offer are either to competitive or maybe it’s new, and doesn’t have enough searches for it’s brand name yet.
Now, do a quick keyword research using a search engine or your favorite keyword tool for relevant or similar products, if you didn’t already have one in mind. Write an article on this similar affiliate offer using keywords targeted for it, not the affiliate offer you’re actually trying to make a sale from. At the end of the article you just mention the affiliate offer you are really trying to promote and just let them know they may want to check it out.
Here’s one example of using this affiliate method:
I choose an affiliate product for SEO software and it’s name is called “xxxx SEO software” that I want to promote. But instead of writing about that product, I write an article and use targeted keywords for a different popular seo software called (zzzz seo tool). I do a review type of article on (zzzz seo tool). And at the end of the article I mention “xxxx SEO software” with a affiliate link to it and say this just came out, is cheaper, has more features and you may want to check it out.
That was just one example of how affiliates use this technique to indirectly sell another affiliate offer. In that example I just increased my chances of making a conversion because you use affiliate links for both offers, while I built a little loyalty and trust. How? When the visitor reads the review thinking it’s probably biased and I’m just going to try to push the popular product on them. Instead they get a curve ball thrown at them because at the end of the article, I let them know about a totally different, but similar product, which is cheaper and has more features. Most people will appreciate that I recommended a more valuable product.
Your chances are very high they will purchase the second offer, the original affiliate product you were trying to promote.
Be creative, think outside the box and you’ll be able to use this method in many different ways for just about any type of affiliate offer. It works for just about anything, websites, lp’s, blog posts and more.
Some people may think this method is a little shady. It can be, it’s all up to you on how you implement it and what you write. You could totally just compliment your articles by learning how and when to add other affiliate offers to them, just experiment.
Make Money Online Creating Mini Niche Sites with WordPress
Today I want to share with you a pretty basic way on how to make money online creating mini niche sites with wordpress.org. Some of my most profitable sites were created using these same exact methods. Checkout this article if you need more information about what WordPress is.
This is a great way for anyone new to internet or affiliate marketing to make their first dollar. After a little experience, you could easily produce a few of these mini niche sites per day and make quite a bit of extra money at home!
I like using WordPress for mini niche blogs because it’s a simple, yet effective way to make quick landing pages that look professional and they rank well in the search engines. If you’re already using WP to blog then why not make some extra money by spending a little time every week creating a mini niche site. Unless you’re already a successful blogger, these mini niche sites will probably end up bringing you more money than you’re blog does, easily.
Let’s get started…….
I’m not going into details or anything like that, I’m going to quickly go over the basic procedures. If you need some extra help, or don’t fully understand everything I’m talking about, then checkout some of my “popular posts” on the sidebar to the right or leave a comment.
1. Find a good affiliate product or service that pays out pretty well. I’ve found that clickbank products do quite well, but actually just about any good affiliate offer can work well too.
2. Look for a good domain name that’s relevant to your affiliate offer you chose. Also, choose a name that will help it to rank well in the serp’s.
3. After your domain has properly propagated over, install WP onto it. Should be as easy as a few clicks through your control panel. Depends on which hosting you have.
4. It’s time to find and install a relevant WordPress theme. I have a ton of premium themes but I also use the FREE Wp themes as well. Just depends on the affiliate product I am creating a niche site for. You may want to checkout this affiliate theme, which allows you to quickly and easily create just about any niche site using WP.
5. There are many different formats that you can use to make your niche site. I prefer the review style because it’s quick, simple and converts quite easily. Now there are two different types of review styles that are best. The “single review style” where you do a review and only write about the affiliate product you chose. Show the value of the product and the benefits for purchasing the product or service. Actually owning or purchasing the service or product first will make your review more believable and convert better, but not absolutely necessary.
Then there’s the “multiple comparison review style”. This is where you would choose usually 3 affiliate products that are all similar. Let’s say you are using a health niche, choose 3 products that help people lose weight. You do a little review and show the value of all three usually in a ordered list from #1 being the best product and the product you actually want them to purchase. All the way down to the #3, last product. This style allows your visitors to compare similar products and gives you a higher chance of making a sale. Trust me, it works!
Other than writing compelling content that presells your affiliate offer, it helps to add any relevant visuals. Like videos, images, background theme, header image and even banners from your affiliate product.
Another thing many affiliates like to add is a “optin-form” (giving your visitors something FREE if they sign-up like any relevant ebook or report will increase sign-ups) this will allow you to stay in contact with them and hopefully make a purchase with you later on.
6. Now it’s time to get traffic to your WP niche site that you just created. Here’s a plus for this type of site, you can get organic traffic to it via the search engines, bookmarking on social media sites, blog commenting and articles. Also, these type of “mini niche sites” can do well for Pay Per Click (PPC) advertising for certain keywords. Google Adwords is my favorite ppc program.
TIPS – the more value and insight you provide, the better. Also, don’t make your niche site look like a sales pitch. The more natural (meaning not just trying to make a sale thru your affiliate link) it looks to the reader, the better it will convert.
If you’re a internet or affiliate marketer already, you probably made dozens of these niche sites using WordPress. But for the new bloggers who use WP already, but never made a mini niche site, should definitely give this a try and you should be able to make some extra money on the side. I’ve found creating and marketing these type of sites can help sharpen your internet marketing skills, which you can also implement on your blogs.

Double Your Sign ups and Conversions with Ultimate Footer ad or Stripe Ads
Are you interested in maybe doubling your sign ups or conversions by adding a simple tool or program? You may have seen some blogs and websites in the past utilizing the Maxblogpress stripe ads, or the Ultimate Footer Ad. It’s a really effective way of increasing your subscribers, sales and promoting special offers. I really like these tools because they aren’t annoying like pop unders, or the sign up forms that hover and PoP Out when you enter a site. At the same time they are almost Impossible to Miss.
The Truth is, some people or some sites may not do well or like this type of method of promoting their offers and services. NOT everything works for every person and every site. Test it out and experiment until you find a combination that works well for your particular site. I know these two tools do have great potential if used properly.
Try them both out for FREE. Take advantage of their FREE trial versions below and see if you like them, or if they work well for your blogs/websites. If not, then no big loss to you, just remove them.
MaxBlogPress Stripe Ads
I actually have seen stripe ads on several sites before, but what made me finally implement it on some of my blogs is that I see Gmail and Yahoo use similar type of advertising. Go to your Gmail right now and look at the add on the top outlining of the Gmail inbox. Don’t you see the add in white lettering, and Yahoo does similar type of advertising. Obviously if they are using this type of promotion then it must work well. I’ve added this plugin a few weeks ago and have had a good click thru rate and have made 2 sales from using it. It’s all about your add, poor add, then low CTR.
MaxBlogPress Stripe Ads is a Word Press (WP) Plugin so it’s really easy to install. There is a FREE trial version of it but you will need to register for it, only takes a minute. It’s really great because you can alter it just about anyway you want to. Change the color, add as many affiliate links, offers or specials that you want. You can even alternate the adds to show different offers. It’s simple to use and may work wonders for you. You can even change the position of the stripe ads to appear on your blog.
———————————————————————————————————————————————————————————-
Ultimate Footer Ad
Many people may think that the ultimate footer add is a WordPress (WP) Plugin, when in fact it’s not. It can be used on just about any type of blog or website. I think using both tools (footer ad and stripe ads) on the same site may be a advertising overload, so I suggest to sticking with just one per site, but it also matters on what type of site and niche you are in. I wanted to test both of them out on different sites to see which one worked well for each site.
I’m telling you a secret that not many affiliate marketers may not tell you. To get the FREE 30 day trial Ultimate Footer Ad click on that link and then once on the site you can just exit out and a Special offer will appear for your free trial.
I really like the Ultimate Footer Add cause it’s really professional looking and you can change it up to add subscribers to your blogs/websites, newsletter signups, and create or increase your email list quickly. Many of the sites I’ve seen who use the ultimate footer add have immensely increased CTR’s and sign-ups. Most of them claim they are at least doubling their sales or sign ups.
Ultimate Footer Ad Video showing different templates
Purchase Ultimate Footer ad v2.1 which is their latest version and get a bonus of 72 footer graphics like in the video above , life time upgrades and their price has been dropped down to only $47. There is also a 365 day guarantee, so you have a long time to test it out. I tried to find a legit discount for it, but they were all old and no longer working.
I hope one of these tools or programs will help improve your conversions, subscribers, or sign-ups. Remember, they may work well for some niches and sites and they may not. Success with internet marketing is all about experimenting and testing things on your own.
